Jeannette  Vs  McVey
Joe Jennette was given a dinner last night by the club and
presented with a gold medal-a beauty-and a large
bronze
medallion
and a painting of himself by the Count
Rochefoucauld
.  There were 125 guests present. Joe was
the only one not in evening clothes and he turned a few
shades paler when they were boosting him.  Joe doesn't
like to be made a fuss over.  He's the most modest and
retiring fellow  in the world.
